Over the past few months, I’ve been exploring different partnerships and collaborations. There’s something that I’ve focused on as the key: always giving more than I get.
So, when I saw this tweet from someone I really admire, I knew I wanted to help her out.
Anne-Laure’s book is out today and I highly recommend it, but not because I’ve read it yet. It just came out and I haven’t reached a high enough status where people send me books before they’re released, which, as it happens, is one of the status indicators I’m shooting for. But I’m going to recommend it for two reasons:
I really admire Anne-Laure’s ability to communicate complex ideas in very actionable ways. I’ve been following what she’s done with Ness Labs, and her post on Neuroenergetics supported other research I’ve been doing around creativity and energy levels.
I believe in the idea of Tiny Experiments from the position of how to figure things out in a complex rapidly changing environment. You can’t do large drawn out experiments because there are too many moving pieces. You have to break things down into smaller shorter pieces, because this is a more efficient way to make updates to a world model that is fully dynamic. It’s how I’ve been living my life over the past few years and trying to adapt to a world that is making it harder and harder to do so.
I’m going to pause here, so she can tell you about the book in her own words:
What if we stopped treating life as a rigid series of checkboxes and, instead, embraced it as a playground for discovery? Tiny Experiments by neuroscientist and entrepreneur Anne-Laure Le Cunff invites readers to rethink traditional goal-setting and unlock the power of small, deliberate experiments to navigate uncertainty, explore new paths, and grow authentically.
Drawing from scientific research and real case studies, Anne-Laure challenges the pressure to pursue linear goals and instead encourages an experimental mindset—one where continuous reinvention takes center stage. Through engaging stories, actionable insights, and thought-provoking exercises, Tiny Experiments provides a flexible framework for designing a more meaningful life, one small step at a time.
Whether you’re seeking a new career direction, exploring a creative pursuit, or simply looking for ways to bring more curiosity into your daily routine, this book is an essential guide to unlocking your full potential. Order your copy today and start your own series of tiny experiments!
Or, if you want the word of some people who had the pleasure of reading early copies, I noticed a few of the usual suspects in the thinkers I admire.
Highly recommend you grab a copy. I’m going to be doing a book review on it after I get it and am able to read it in depth, so look for that in the future.
